How to Score Fantasy Dating Points During Sunday Football

Ladies, you constantly say, “Where can I meet good men?” and “It’s so hard to meet guys.” Well, here’s a little secret. On Sundays, this fall, men will gather together, in public, where you and your winggirls can easily access them.

That’s right, all the work will be done for you, as men flock to their local watering holes to watch football. They’ll line up at the door, crowd at the bar and lean over tables piled high with wings, burgers and beer. All you have to do is show up, smile and introduce yourself.

Seriously, where else will you find crowds of men and a very low ratio of women? The Sunday football opportunities to meet single men and earn Fantasy Dating points are endless.

Here are some tips to help you bring your A game:

1. Get caught looking.

Some guys are seriously into football. So much that they can’t even see anything besides the TVs over the bar. These guys might require some extra flirting. So, send him some signals. Glance his way until you get caught looking a couple times. Let him know you’re interested.

2. Only approach during commercials.

Most football fans are Fantasy Football players. As a Fantasy Dater, you understand how high the stakes are. So, don’t interrupt while he’s watching the game. Make your move during a commercial.

3. Use a game related approach.

If you’re in a bar watching football with rabid football fans, it makes sense to talk football. When you approach someone you’re interested in, ask about the last play. Say something like, “I missed that last play. What happened?” Or smile and say, “Can you believe that last touchdown?” It’ll be all high fives from there.

4. Remind him that he likes girls as much as he likes football.

As much as you might think donning your brother’s XXL Manning jersey will show your team spirit, it will do nothing to highlight your femininity. If you’re making the effort to get out and meet guys, get your girl on. If you do choose to wear a Jersey, choose a fitted one. Do your hair and put on some makeup. The guys may have rolled out of bed and into the bar but that doesn’t mean it should appear like you did too. Be the hot, confident woman you are and play to win!

We look forward to seeing you light up your scoreboards. Now go get your game on!

Sports bars on Sundays is a total no-brainer. I’ve meet three guys so far. I’m heading out now and I’m LATE!

Wow. This sounds a little scary. Like women seeking us out like prey. How are we supposed to know if you’re really interested in us or if you’re just trying to score points?

Have no fear, Brad. Every player accepts The Honor Code. In it, they pledge to only approach people they are truly interested in. If that’s not enough for you, look at it like this – the ultimate goal of Fantasy Dating is to drop out because you find love. So, the game only works if you work it. Putting up fake points won’t get you to love. But approaching people who spark your interest just might. ;)

When we’re watching football at the bar, we’re focusing on the GAME. Not picking up girls. I’d like to see stats on how many women actually succeed at bothering guys during the game.

Ooo! Joe B, we know how important football is to you guys. That’s why we suggest players approach during commercials. As for success rates, the scoreboards skyrocket every Sunday!

    Get caught looking! Great advice.

This happens to me in Starbucks alot – you look – you get caught – and sometimes you start chatting!
